  11. Just for those wondering about the mod posted last week,

  13. I did the caller-ID hardware mod (for daughterboard modems) on mine 
  14. today, and it worked flawlessly.  Total time was 5 minutes to solder on 
  15. the two components.

  17. I used:

  19. 10k ohm, 1/4 watt resistor (271-1335 at Radio Shack)
  20.  
  21. 0.047 uf Ceramic disk capacitor (don't remember the part number, but it's 
  22. the size of a small watch battery, and beige).
  23.  
  24. Just solder the leads together, and jumper pins 4 & 6 of the relay chip.  
  25. Works great!
