- Just for those wondering about the mod posted last week,

- I did the caller-ID hardware mod (for daughterboard modems) on mine
- today, and it worked flawlessly. Total time was 5 minutes to solder on
- the two components.

- I used:

- 10k ohm, 1/4 watt resistor (271-1335 at Radio Shack)

- 0.047 uf Ceramic disk capacitor (don't remember the part number, but it's
- the size of a small watch battery, and beige).

- Just solder the leads together, and jumper pins 4 & 6 of the relay chip.
- Works great!
